Earn A Clinical Sleep Educator Certificate At The FOCUS 2012 Conference
BRPT is offering a Clinical Sleep Educator (CSE) Certificate Program at the FOCUS conference in Nashville, Tennessee on May 9, 2012 awarding qualifying participants with an assessment-based certificate as a Clinical Sleep Educator. In addition, nurses, respiratory care practitioners and sleep technologists can earn up to eight continuing education credits for attendance.
Previously, the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) sponsored an annual conference entitled Becoming a Sleep Educator. The ACCP developed the sleep educator conference in recognition of the chronic nature of obstructive sleep apnea and general sleep disorders, knowing patients would increasingly require ongoing adjustments and interactions with health care professionals who could benefit from specialized education and training. Now in its fourth year, the Becoming a Sleep Educator conference has evolved into the BRPTís Clinical Sleep Educator Certificate Program.
