Save The Date For The Next CSE Program!

Save the date for the next BRPT Clinical Sleep Educator Certificate program to be presented on May 6 in conjunction with the 2015 Spring FOCUS Conference. The program will take place at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida.

This intense one-day program, presented by nationally renowned speakers, focuses on obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) syndrome and other common sleep disorders, their treatments, comorbidities, and communication to empower healthcare professionals to educate, coach and provide resources to patients, their families, and the community.

At the end of the program, attendees will be prepared to take a post-test to earn the Clinical Sleep Educator (CSE) Certificate. While the certificate is not a credential, obtaining it does open an avenue to pursue BRPT's new Certification in Clinical Sleep Health (CCSH) credential for healthcare providers who work directly with sleep medicine patients. Attendees receive an electronic version of the presentation slides along with a CSE tool kit filled with guides, articles, fact sheets, questionnaires, and other important resources.

Participants in the one-day CSE program will earn 7.5 continuing education credits. The cost to attend the one-day CSE program is $350. However, participants who register for both the CSE program and the FOCUS conference will receive a 20% discount. Watch for registration details coming soon!

State And Employer Verification Requests

Effective January 1, the BRPT will charge a $25 processing fee to fulfill credential verification requests. Once the request and payment have been received by the BRPT executive office, an official verification letter will be sent to the appropriate employer and/or state licensing board within 2-5 business days.

Happy Holidays from the Officers, Directors, and Staff of the BRPT!

Wishing you and your families the very best in the New Year. The BRPT's Executive Office will be closed December 25 through January 1.
