Recertification and Reinstatement Options

Once you are 6 months away from your RPSGT or CCSH credential’s expiration date, you are eligible to apply for Recertification. If your credential has expired, you will be required to apply for Reinstatement. We have several different renewal options depending on when your credential expires/ has expired:

Option 1: Your credential is 6 months or less away from expiring, and you plan to recertify by submitting 50.00 CEC’s.

Option 2: Your credential is 1-90 days expired.

Option 3: Your credential is more than 90 days,, but less than 1 year expired.

Option 4: Your credential is 6 months or less away from expiring, and you plan to recertify by retaking and passing the exam in lieu of submitting CEC’s.

Option 5: Extension of Credits Fee:  Your credential is expired and you still need to earn credits in order to reinstate.  Once you have earned the necessary credits within the 90 day period, you must then apply for Reinstatement through Option 2 or 6.

Option 6: Your credential is more than 1 year expired, but less than 5 years expired.

Please note that if you are more than 5 years expired, you are now considered a New Candidate and must apply as one by clicking here, forfeiting your old credential #.
