We are pleased to announce the launch of the Advanced Titration Certificate (ATC) Exam, a new specialty assessment developed in response to strong demand from BRPT credential holders for advanced titration recognition.
The ATC Exam is designed for experienced sleep professionals who manage patients with complex sleep therapy needs. It assesses advanced titration knowledge and clinical decision-making, including, but not limited to advanced titration modalities, pathophysiology and clinical presentation, nerve stimulators, oral appliances, and surgical treatment considerations.

Who is eligible?
- Active RPSGT credential holders
- Active CCSH credential holders
What do successful candidates receive?

- 10.00 BRPT-CSTE credits, which can be used toward RPSGT and/or CCSH recertification
Candidates who achieve a passing score of 70% or higher will earn the certificate.
The ATC Exam was developed by the BRPT’s Advanced Titration Certificate Task Force chaired by BRPT Board member Jill West, RPSGT, CCSH, which is comprised of subject matter experts and guided by a formal Job Task Analysis to ensure the exam reflects current practice, clinical relevance, and professional rigor.
This new certificate sets a higher benchmark for advanced titration expertise and reinforces BRPT’s commitment to advancing excellence in sleep health care.
